Goldstrike Mine, Carlin, NV
Located in north central Nevada, the Goldstrike complex consists of three distinct mines in which the ore is milled, oxidized and leached. The site is 9,028 acres with elevations ranging from 5,700 to 6,100-feet and severe winter weather. The expansion to the existing mill included two high voltage substations, water treatment facility, reverse osmosis building, CaTS storage and copper sulfate mixing facility, elution facility, tailings thickener facility, and TKI facility. CME has provided a variety of services over the course of three years working at the mine including:
